Tenants - Managing Coronavirus / Covid-19

As you will be well aware, the Coronavirus pandemic has escalated and continues to impact all facets of society.

As this situation continues to unfold, we believe it is important to take steps to mitigate the risk associated with this virus.
 
Symptoms of COVID-19
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties, says the World Health Organisation.
 
Routine Inspections & Contracting Work
If you are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus or are in self-isolation, please let us know as soon as possible. If you are, we can postpone all routine inspections and contracting work until a later date, unless emergency contracting work is required.

If a routine inspection or contracting work does go ahead, the following precautionary measures will be taken:
a) Ask you to ensure all surfaces and door handles are wiped before the inspection or contracting work takes place.
b) The person entering your property, either someone from our company or the contractor, will use hand sanitiser or gloves while completing the job.
 
Rent
The economic impact of Coronavirus will be far reaching and may result in some people having their hours cut back, or even losing their jobs. Others may have to self-isolate. To minimise job losses, the Government has announced that businesses can apply for wage subsidies to help affected businesses. There is more information here:

If you believe your work hours will be affected, please advise your employer of this policy and if you are struggling to pay your rent during this time, please let us know before going into arrears.

This is difficult time for everybody. But if we take precautionary measure, we can do our bit in limiting the spread of Coronavirus. It remains an ever-changing landscape and we will update you with new developments as they come to hand.
